Family report

Pierre Olivier and Aurélie are regular visitors to Méribel: “we’ve been coming here to ski for over 20 years”.

Their parents also love Méribel: “we’re fortunate to have a family apartment which allows us to ski here regularly”.

For 35 year-old Aurélie, Méribel offers many advantages
: its proximity to Chambéry, the very high quality of the skiing area, and interesting things to do other than ski…

Indeed, Méribel is situated only one hour from Chambéry. It is one of the closest ski resorts to the city.

Aurélie: “we are thoroughly used to this resort and its high quality ski area”.

37 year-old Pierre Olivier is a fan of Méribel Alpina.
His grandparents and parents have always loved and remained faithful to this resort.

Pierre Olivier reveals “I learned to ski on Méribel’s pistes, especially in the Altiport beginners’ area. I spent many hours with my friends doing jumps on the wall near the Chamois piste under the Burgin 1 lift!! It’s a real pleasure nowadays to ski down these same pistes with our daughter, Agathe, who also learned to ski in Méribel”.

8 year-old Agathe: “the whoops in the
MoonPark and the paths in the Altiport forest are really cool!!!”

As Pierre Olivier told us, Méribel Alpina’s ski area is so very varied that everybody can find their own enjoyments.

Pierre Olivier and Aurélie also appreciate the modernization of the ski lifts and the new liftpass system
: “there’s nothing like the long queues of before!”

They find that the lift company personnel are always at hand and pleasant in assisting the children get on the draglifts or into the gondolas.

According to them “the Altiport and Rond Point areas are the best suited to children and their parents (specially adapted draglifts and magic carpet lifts, gentle slopes, sledding area, walking paths nearby....)" and

“skiing in Méribel is a real privilege because you enjoy
an exceptional infrastructure and setting!”
