From the 15th to the 18th of December, for the first time in Méribel, there will be the opening of the Freestyle FIS World Cup. This event will take place on "le stade de Corbey" of Méribel Alpina.
With the aid of a cable which pulls up the piste groomers, the machines can thus create piles of snow while ascending the piste. These piles will then be shaped by shovel in order to create real bumps.
Méribel Alpina works every day to build a special slope for this event.
