Your first taste of skiing in the most beautiful of resorts…

Everything is offered to you free so you can experience for yourself the pleasures of skiing in the best possible conditions in Méribel.

Equipment and skilifts

Go to any of the 14 sports shops in the resort participating in “Première Glisse”.

Qualified staff will loan you all the equipment you require (skis, poles and ski boots) as well as a skipass in order to take the Rhodos' Telecabine.

Your first steps (Première Glisse)

Go to the beginners’ area (Espace Débutants) where there is a rope tow to take your first steps on skis.

Between 10am and 12pm, on sundays and mondays , an instructor from the ESF ski school will be there to meet you and introduce you to the pleasures of skiing.

Your first run

Once you have picked up the basics you can set out on the Blanchot run which is designed for beginners. Follow the signs “Première Glisse” through the beautiful pine forest.

Once you arrive at the bottom at the Altiport, you can either go back up by the Altiport draglift or carry on to the mid-station of the Rhodos which will take you back to the Chaudanne. If you have enjoyed your day, your sports shop, the ESF and Méribel Alpina will be delighted to include you amongst their clients and will be happy to look after you throughout the season.
